What to include in a notice

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them.
  2. The copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  3. The material you want removed, with enough detail to find it: the page address, or the print code if you have one.
  4. Your name, address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly making a false claim in a notice can make you liable for damages. If you're not sure the material infringes, talk to a lawyer first.

What we do

When we receive a complete notice, we promptly remove or disable the material, stop any print of it that hasn't been made, and tell the person who uploaded it. If it was a video, the print's page will say the clip was removed.

If your upload was removed

If you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentified, send our agent a counter-notice with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The material that was removed and where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any district where we can be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice.

We send the counter-notice to the person who complained. Unless they tell us they've filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days later.

Repeat infringers

We keep a record of copyright notices. In appropriate circumstances, we end the accounts and partner access of, and refuse orders from, people who repeatedly infringe.

Other concerns

If you're shown in a video, or have a concern that isn't about copyright, email memories@stillbeating.app. Our hosting policy explains how we handle those requests.
